All right, guys, we’re going to have a really, really good main course here. We’re going to have a bacon-wrapped meatloaf. What we’ve got here is the meatloaf, bacon, foil, the cookie sheet, and my good friend, the spatula. Again, foil on the cookie sheet. This is one of my favorite recipes. I just prepared this meatloaf here. We’re going to lay that down right there. It’s one of my best recipes.
Let’s get this out of the way. And, once again, we’re going to weave some bacon… So, there’s three slices down. That’s great, that’s really good. And then three slices across… okay. So, you just want to be up and under, up and under, up and under. Okay? Really tighten that up, get maximum coverage… There you go. We’ve got that nice coverage, and now we’re ready to place this in the oven. What I would recommend is, I would say, about 375 at 15 minutes because, of course, you want the bacon to cook and you also want to keep the meatloaf warm as well. It’s like a nice little blanket right there for our meatloaf as well. Let’s get this in the oven, and see how we do.
Look at this. That sizzle. Let’s turn this oven off. And there it is. I’m definitely seeing the doneness of the bacon. It’s curled up to perfection. It’s got a great color. The meatloaf, again, is done. It’s not overcooked, and this is exactly what I’ve been looking for in my bacon-wrapped meatloaf. I know I’m going to like this.
