One of the staples of comfort food, this spin on mac and cheese, makes the recipe a touch more smoky.
Ingredients
1 lb Elbow Macaroni
1/4 Cup Unsalted Butter
1/4 Cup All Purpose Flour
4 Cups Whole Milk
1/2 TSP Black Pepper
1 1/2 TSP Salt
1 TSP Smoked Paprika
2 cups Extra-Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1 Cup Processed Cheese
Preparation
Pasta
1. Heat water for past to boil
2. Cook Elbow Macaroni and drain well
3. Set Aside.
Sauce
1. Melt butter in dutch oven over medium heat.(320 degrees)
2. Whisk in flour to make the rue
3. Whisk in milk
4. Whisk in Salt and Pepper and Paprika
5. Add in cheese and continue to whisk
6. Combine cooked elbow macaroni into the sauce and serve.
