This is how your check what version of firmware your Digital Control board is currently running. In order to use Local WIFI you need at least the v4.8 version of firmware on your control board.

Toggle the Grill off.
Hold the “up” button down, Then toggle the grill on, while continuing to hold “up” button for about 15 seconds
The LCD Panel will display the version number.
If no Version number is displayed, you will need to update your firmware

Unplug the Grill
Hold the “Up” button down, Then Plug the Grill in, while continuing to hold the “Up” button for about 15 seconds
The LCD Panel will Display the version number.
Note: The v4.2 Version of firmware does not allow for checking, so if your grill does not display a version number just update your grill.
