Happy Memorial Day! I celebrated the day by smoking a pork sirloin roast over apple wood. Used a combination of two rubs: Larry Wolfe’s Wolfe Rub Original, and Lionheart’s Boubon Street. They work really well together.

It’s an easy, excellent recipe, some of the best baked beans I’ve ever tasted. To my taste, I felt they weren’t “saucey” enough, so I mixed in a second batch of sauce the next day. Much better!
Throw in deviled eggs, and Silver Queen corn roasted on the grill, and it was a grand feast!
