Things are starting to get festive at CountryWoodSmoke HQ, here we show you how to cook a Turkey Crown in the Traeger Timberline 850 Pellet Grill.
I ran the smoker for an hour at 100c on the super smoke setting with cherry pellets, then turned the temperature up to 180c to crisp the skin up until the turkey breast reached 70c , the carry over when resting took the temperature up to a safe 74c. The result was a sublimely smoky, crisp skinned and juicy turkey, just how I like them…make sure to see the end bit with the juices dripping out as I hold a slice up.
Have a wonderful Festive season folks.
